As 2024 draws to a close, the Indian concert scene is buzzing like never before. It's no longer just about the artist; it's about the experience. And what an experience it is! Tickets for every show, from Karan Aujla to Diljit Dosanjh and even global superstars like Coldplay, have been flying off the shelves in minutes. The disappointment is palpable on social media platforms like Threads, X, Instagram, and Facebook, with fans lamenting their missed chances.


But here's the silver lining: India is witnessing a surge in international artists gracing its stages, and we couldn't be more thrilled! To make your life easier, we've curated a list of all the upcoming concerts in India in 2024 and early 2025.


  • Coldplay: Music Of The Spheres World Tour

    Coldplay, known for their soaring melodies and anthemic choruses, has cemented their place as one of the most beloved bands on the 21st century. Their concerts are legendary with a mix of electrifying performances, Chris Martin's engaging stage presence and a commitment to sustainability that resonates with fans worldwide.


    Recently, tickets for their "Music Of The Spheres World Tour" sold out within minutes of their release on 22 September 2024. Resale platforms such as Viagogo have the tickets listed for exorbitant prices (over INR 3,00,000), proving the band's enduring popularity.


    If you, like many, couldn't grab tickets, there's still hope. Coldplay reserves a limited number of "Infinity Tickets" for each show, offering a second chance to experience the magic live. The catch is that these tickets are randomly allocated throughout the venue, meaning you could snag anything from a back row seat to a prime spot on the floor. While the official release date for Infinity Tickets is rumoured to be November 22nd, stay informed by signing up for updates on Coldplay's official website here.

    My favourite Punjabi singer and heartthrob, Diljit Dosanjh, is all set to perform in multiple cities in India with his Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024! His magnetic stage presence and versatile musical talent have made him a true icon in the Punjabi music scene. Tickets for this tour went live on 10 September 2024 for pre-sale exclusively for HDFC's Pixel Card holders and on 12 September 2024 for general sale. Instagram was flooded with memes and posts about the supremacy of Pixel Card holders, as well as hilarious reels of tickets selling out in a matter of minutes. Due to the high demand, Diljit has announced that another show will be added to Delhi along with two new cities—Jaipur and Mumbai. Tickets for these new shows have yet to go live. The punk rock icons have been shaking up the music scene for decades and are headlining Lollapalooza in Mumbai next year. While I am most excited about Green Day, you can also expect pop sensations Shawn Mendez and Louis Tomlinson, along with 10+ other artists, to grace the stage.
