He initially took to Instagram to announce that the Dil-Luminati India tour would be hitting 10 cities — Delhi, Bangalore, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Indore, Chandigarh and Guwahati — from 26 October to 29 December! Pre-sale tickets for these shows went live on 10 September 2024 at noon for HDFC's Pixel Credit Card holders, and general sales started on 12 September at 1 PM. Needless to say, tickets sold out within minutes, prompting fans to flood social media platforms like Instagram, X, and Threads to express their joy and sadness or simply to share a laugh through memes. Diljit even reposted many fan reels on his stories. While the concert ticket price only started at INR 1,499, reselling platforms like Viagogo sold them for over INR 20,000.
Given the high demand, Diljit announced that he will be adding an extra show in Delhi and two more cities—Jaipur and Mumbai—to the current line-up! The tickets for Delhi's Day 2 and Jaipur tickets will go live on 9 October 2024 at 2 PM, while the sale for Mumbai has yet to be announced. Diljit's second concert in Delhi is set to take place on 27 October 2024, and Jaipur's show has been scheduled for 3 November 2024.
